In a world that moves faster than we can breathe, some people are quietly doing the ancient work — holding space, tending ceremony, and reminding us that healing has always been a communal act. Roxana (Akal) Rosas is one of them.
Roxana (Akal) Rosas — Facilitator & Guide, Four Waters Healing
Four Waters Healing is not a wellness brand. It is a living practice — rooted in ancestral lineage, built on years of deep personal immersion, and held together by a profound commitment to community care. Founded and facilitated by Akal, it is a sanctuary for those who are ready to do real inner work.
Akal’s path has been anything but surface-level. Rooted in Mexicayotl traditions and shaped by a decade-long relationship with plant and earth medicines, she has walked the path of healing not as a profession first, but as a calling. She studies under Maestro Opalmitzin in Guadalajara, carrying forward teachings connected to the Tolteca-Mexica lineage — and each year, she leads a small group to Mexico to study and serve in ceremony alongside these living traditions.
“She believes each person carries an innate capacity to heal and is devoted to walking alongside others in integration, self-trust, and embodied remembrance.”
A Bridge Between Worlds
What makes Four Waters Healing distinct is the way it holds two things at once — the depth of ancestral tradition and the grounded, trauma-aware awareness required to hold space safely in the modern world. Akal is a Certified Kundalini Yoga Therapist, trained under Ram Das Bir Singh Khalsa and certified through Kundalini University and Yoga Alliance. Her weekly 90-minute online classes in Kundalini Yoga and Meditation offer a steady anchor: nervous system regulation through breathwork, intentional movement, and meditation — beginner-friendly and open to all.
Weekly Kundalini Yoga & Meditation — online and in-person
And yet her work reaches far beyond the yoga mat. Akal has been in relationship with Kambo — the sacred frog medicine of the Amazon — for over ten years. She completed a full year of medicine immersion before stepping into service, and now facilitates intimate Kambo ceremonies with a strong emphasis on preparation, safety, and integration. This is not fast healing. It is careful, intentional, and deeply respectful of the medicine and the people who come to sit with it.
The Full Spectrum of Offerings
Four Waters Healing offers a rich and varied range of healing modalities, each grounded in lineage, reciprocity, and care:
Left: Kambo Ceremony · Right: Birthing Your Drum — Ancestral Drum Making
Each offering is approached with the same reverence. Cacao ceremonies open the heart through community, movement, and intention. Limpias — traditional energetic cleansings — clear what no longer serves. The Mexicayotl Study and Community Bridge Work carries the living teachings of the Tolteca-Mexica lineage into modern community spaces. And the Retreats and Workshops — including the powerful Birthing Your Drum Ceremony — create transformative containers for those ready to go deeper.
Healing as a Communal Act
One of the threads woven through every offering at Four Waters Healing is the understanding that we do not heal alone. Whether it is a group Kambo ceremony held in circle, an Emotional Release Writing Workshop where participants free-write and share their stories, or an online Kundalini class attended from living rooms across time zones — the container is always communal. Always held.
Emotional Release Writing Workshop — Words That Heal
The writing workshop, in particular, is a beautiful example of how Akal approaches healing: through the body, the breath, and the written word. Participants are invited into mindfulness exercises, guided prompts, open sharing, and closing ritual — a full arc of expression and integration. No recording, no performance, just the grace of being witnessed.
“It’s never too late to be held in the grace of community.”
An Invitation to Remember
Sacred space — Kambo ceremony preparation
At the heart of everything Akal offers is a single, powerful invitation: to remember. To remember who you are beneath the noise. To remember that healing is not something done to you — it is something you carry within, waiting to be activated through safe space, right relationship, and the ancient medicines of the earth.
Whether you are drawn to the gentle opening of a cacao circle, the intensity of a Kambo ceremony, or simply the steady ground of a weekly yoga class — Four Waters Healing meets you exactly where you are.
